These terms describe use of Game Emulator, responsibility for game content, and the limits of saves, third-party services and software licensing. Read them before use. Mandatory legal rights remain unaffected.

1. Provider and scope
Game Emulator is provided by 蔡宏勋. Contact: caihongx2026@outlook.com. These terms cover this version’s library, emulator interface, original mini-games and related local features. It offers no Game Emulator accounts, in-app purchases or subscriptions. Some advanced features may require separate third-party accounts.
Use the app only when you are entitled to accept these terms. Minors should have a guardian’s guidance. Features vary with the device, system, core and external service.
2. Lawful game and system files
Import, run, back up or share only ROMs, BIOS files, disc images, homebrew and other content you have a lawful right to use. Follow applicable copyright and other laws. Owning physical media does not necessarily authorize downloading, copying or distributing related files in every jurisdiction.
Game Emulator provides no commercial game catalog or commercial ROM downloads and grants no copyright license to commercial games or BIOS files. Licenses for bundled original practice and diagnostic content do not cover other files you import. Game names, trademarks and content belong to their respective owners. Game Emulator is independent and does not claim endorsement by console manufacturers, game publishers or upstream projects.
3. Open-source licenses take precedence
Game Emulator is an independent derivative of RetroArch. Relevant RetroArch and Game Emulator code is licensed under GNU GPLv3. FCEUmm, mGBA, melonDS DS, PPSSPP and other components carry their respective licenses, copyright statements and notices. Read the bundled licenses in the app, distribution and corresponding source code.
These terms do not replace or reduce rights those licenses grant to run, study, copy, modify, redistribute or obtain corresponding source. They impose no blanket prohibition on reverse engineering or commercial use of open-source components. If these terms conflict with a component’s open-source license, that license governs the component. Proprietary SDKs, trademarks and game content remain subject to their own licenses and rights.
For App Store copies, applicable Apple usage rules and the Standard End User License Agreement may also apply unless validly replaced by a custom EULA. This page supplies usage and supplemental terms; it does not automatically replace the App Store license. Apple’s Standard EULA itself preserves permissions under applicable open-source licenses.
4. Use and reasonable restrictions
Do not use the app to infringe rights, distribute malicious content, gain unauthorized access, disrupt networks or evade content or service restrictions you must legally follow. You are responsible for the content, connection addresses, sync scope and recipients you choose.
These terms do not require you to hand over ROMs or saves or authorize us to automatically inspect your local library. Advanced settings can change core and network behavior. Understand an option before changing it and keep recoverable settings.
5. Compatibility and saves
Emulation depends on device performance, formats, core implementation, required system files and settings. We do not guarantee that every game runs or that graphics, audio, online play, saves or future versions remain fully compatible. Save states depend on core support. Loading a state replaces current unsaved progress.
Back up important files. Removing a game generally preserves separate Saves files but can delete homebrew data in the imported folder. Clearing cache, deleting saves and deleting the app have different effects; see the deletion explanation. Offload App differs from Delete App. Core updates, restored backups or different imported versions may make older saves unusable.
6. Third-party services
Game Emulator includes Google advertising on startup loading screens, non-game pages and explicit game exits, subject to loading, consent and frequency limits. Ads do not appear during gameplay. You can close fullscreen ads using the controls provided by Google. Ad clicks may open external content governed by its provider’s terms. See the Advertising privacy explanation.
Netplay, remote updates, achievements, cloud sync, AI / screen translation, system file providers and sharing recipients are operated by their respective providers. Separate terms, permissions, fees and availability may apply. Game Emulator cannot promise control or continued availability of third-party services or guarantee all external content. Online features may incur network-provider charges.
7. Privacy and choice
The Privacy Policy explains local data, backups, permissions, third-party processing, deletion and contact channels. Read it before enabling related features. Accepting these terms alone does not consent to every optional processing activity or replace required system permissions or separate consent.
You may disable optional features, revoke available permissions or stop using the app. Withdrawal does not automatically delete information already received by third parties.
8. Quality and responsibility
We will reasonably address reported issues but do not promise error-free or uninterrupted operation, fitness for a particular purpose, or recovery of all lost data. Warranty provisions for open-source components are governed by their licenses.
To the extent permitted by law, we do not assume liability that would not otherwise apply for device failures beyond reasonable control, third-party outages or losses caused by disregarding instructions. No limitation excludes liability that law does not allow to be excluded, including applicable liability for intentional misconduct, gross negligence, personal injury or consumer-protection duties. Statutory remedies, mandatory warranties and consumer rights remain available.
9. Stopping use and disputes
You may stop using and delete the app at any time; first back up games and saves you want to keep. We may change or discontinue features in future versions and explain material changes where appropriate. This does not revoke rights you already hold under open-source licenses while you continue to meet their conditions.
For a dispute, first contact caihongx2026@outlook.com to help seek a resolution. Applicable law and competent authorities are determined under the law. These terms do not designate an exclusive court or mandatory arbitration venue that overrides your statutory rights or require you to waive legal rights of action.
10. Changes, languages and contact
These terms take effect on 2026-09-22. Material changes will be brought to your attention appropriately; renewed agreement will be sought where required. Invalidity of one provision does not automatically invalidate the others or diminish statutory or open-source rights.
The three language versions aim to be consistent. Contact 蔡宏勋 at caihongx2026@outlook.com about questions or differences. External links require internet access and are subject to the destination’s terms.
